Hail Skype!

I'm kinda sad tonight. I won't be able to see my kids for quite sometime now. On the brighter side, England next summer is almost a certainty now but I will no longer have the luxury of randomly booking tickets to go see my kids.

Tomorrow sis and family leave this country. Tomorrow is going to be so depressing. This is a bye week and hence no football either to contend with.

Yikes!!

Main Toh Bas Yunhi ...

Yeah, Kinda Boasting!
Shucks! If I hadn't missed the season opener, I could probably have topped. Scoring 4 in a match is beyond even my wildest imagination. Jesus rocks! (and so does football)

:)

The second in school-s, merit list in Pune -s, distinction -s, IIT- Robotic -s, blah blah blah pales in comparison to what I accomplished yesterday.

I made Mutton Biryani just as good as Mom's. Howzzat for an accomplishment, eh?
With eternal thanks to Ma.

P.S: Maybe Tiramisu next, no?

A Little Common Sense Doesn't Hurt

In Christian groups, sometimes I hear this debate about Christian versus non-Christian songs. Some people even go to the extent of claiming that every song that is non-Christian is from the devil. I feel these are the kinds of people that give Christianity a bad name. It's too bad that these people also come across or portray a wrong image of what it means to be in a relationship with Christ.

I am just a normal guy, but I know Christ loves me. Saturday morning I wake up to this song and have a "good good time". Too bad the above kinda people will never be able to enjoy this song. Some day though, Christ will lead them out of bondage. Till then, enjoy! (I think I have posted this song before)

Winter, 2010

Alright, I've decided. This winter I am going snowboarding... wait skiing. So I kinda kinda know skiing but my roommate is big into snowboarding. He is of the opinion that skiing is for presumptuous people (Any truth to that?)

From what I've heard snowboarding is harder to pick up than skiing (that I am/was comfortable with). Either ways, snowboarding or skiing, come what may, Binoy is gonna wake up at 6 AM on Saturday mornings to go skiing/snowboarding this year.

P.S: If I don't, please don't judge me. After all, it's the thought that counts, no?
World Cup is over and no game this week. Feels like someone stole a big chunk of my life. Life without football is a drag.

Tomorrow I want to wake up and find myself in 2000. Yeah, I haven't yet given up hope on that time-machine. Anyone?

Just Blogging...

Friend's parents getting onto Facebook is such a scary phenomenon. I just had to accept friend's request from parents of my really close friends. Man, the world is no longer a safe place to be ;)

In other news, I am in Richmond (again) and had Mutton Biryani for the umpteenth time and .... (wait for it), Anish joined me for lunch. Did I hear a groan from a member of the Kulkarni clan?

P.S: I almost forgot, daal and fish fry (with ghee) the previous night.
